Team and roles

Add unlimited team members on any plan, assign Owner, Admin, or Member roles to control access, and assign onboardings for clear per-person ownership.

All plans, including Free.

Every Portico plan includes unlimited team members at no extra cost. You pay based on how many clients you onboard, not how many people are on your team.

Roles

Each team member has one of three roles:

OwnerFull access to everything, including billing, team management, and account deletion. One owner per team.
AdminManage team members, change settings, configure integrations, and manage all onboardings. Cannot access billing or delete the account.
MemberCreate and manage onboardings, review responses, message clients, and manage their own assigned work. Cannot change settings or manage other team members.

Inviting members

  1. Go to Settings > Team.
  2. Click Invite member.
  3. Enter the person's email and select a role (Admin or Member).
  4. They receive an email with a link to join your team.

The invite link expires after 7 days. You can resend it from the Team settings page if it expires before they accept.

Assigning onboardings

Any team member can be assigned to specific onboardings for clear ownership. Assignments are visible on the onboarding list and detail pages.

To assign someone, open an onboarding and select a team member from the Assigned to dropdown. You can also bulk-assign from the Onboardings list view.

Assigned members receive notifications for activity on their onboardings. Unassigned onboardings are visible to all team members.

Removing members

Go to Settings > Team, find the member, and click Remove. Their assigned onboardings become unassigned. Onboarding data and history are not deleted.

Only Owners and Admins can remove team members. The Owner cannot be removed.

Transferring ownership

The current Owner can transfer ownership to another team member from Settings > Team. The previous Owner becomes an Admin.
