Lifetime deal terms

These terms apply to one-time lifetime purchases of Portico, operated by TOO "Solid Code". They add to our Terms of Use, which continue to apply to your account. Where the two documents differ on lifetime purchases, this page governs.

1. What lifetime means

A lifetime plan is a one-time payment for access for the life of the product. You keep your plan for as long as TOO "Solid Code" operates Portico. There is no renewal, no subscription, and no card kept on file for the plan.

We want to be plain about the limit of that promise: lifetime means the life of Portico, not your lifetime. No software company can promise to exist forever, and we do not. If we ever stop operating Portico, we will email lifetime customers at least 30 days before the service closes so you can export your data.

2. What your plan includes

There are three lifetime plans, each a single payment in US dollars:

• Lifetime Solo — $49 one-time, 5 new client onboardings per month.
• Lifetime Practice — $119 one-time, 15 new client onboardings per month.
• Lifetime Firm — $229 one-time, 30 new client onboardings per month.

The features and limits of each plan are the ones listed in the plan table on the lifetime deal page at the time of your purchase. That table is part of these terms. Prices exclude sales tax or VAT, which Paddle calculates at checkout.

The onboarding limit counts new onboardings started in a calendar month. It resets on the first day of each month. Work already in progress is not affected when the counter resets.

3. What lifetime plans do not include

Two features are excluded from every lifetime plan, because both carry a per-use cost we pay to third parties:

• AI form generation.
• SMS reminders.

Email reminders are included. If you need AI form generation or SMS reminders, a monthly or annual subscription plan is the right fit. See pricing for those plans.

4. One workspace per purchase

• Each lifetime purchase applies to one Portico workspace.
• You may invite unlimited team members to that workspace at no extra cost.
• Lifetime plans do not stack. A workspace can hold one lifetime plan, and buying a second plan does not add its limits to the first.
• Lifetime plans are tied to the workspace that bought them. They are not transferable, and they may not be resold, gifted, or moved to another account.

5. Changing your tier

There is no self-serve upgrade or downgrade for lifetime plans. Email vlad@portico.run from your account email and we will handle the change by hand. Upgrades are charged at the difference between the two lifetime prices as listed at the time of the upgrade.

6. Refunds

Lifetime purchases carry a 30-day money-back guarantee, counted from the date of purchase. To request a refund, email support@portico.run with your account email within those 30 days.

• Refunds are full refunds. We do not issue partial refunds on lifetime purchases.
• Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
• A refund revokes the lifetime plan. Your workspace reverts to the free tier and your data stays in place.

Our refund policy covers subscriptions, which keep their own 14-day terms.

7. Future features

Your plan includes the features listed for your tier at the time of purchase, together with the fixes and improvements we make to those features. We keep the right to price major new modules separately, in the same way AI generation and SMS sit outside the lifetime plans. We will say so clearly if that happens, and nothing already in your plan is taken away.

8. Fair use and acceptable use

Lifetime plans follow the acceptable use rules in our Terms of Use, including the rules on resale, automated access, and unsolicited messages. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks those rules, and no refund is issued for a lifetime plan terminated for a violation after the 30-day refund window.

Lifetime plans are for your own practice or firm. They may not be used to run Portico as a service for other businesses.

9. Availability of the offer

The lifetime deal is a limited offer. We may change its price, its plans, or withdraw it entirely at any time. A purchase already completed is not affected by a later change or by the end of the offer.
