Signing is outsourced, and payments are missing
Since July 2026 Content Snare connects to FuseSign and Annature. But the client leaves to sign in the vendor's interface, and your firm buys its own vendor account. Payments still need Stripe. Portico signs natively in the flow and collects the payment in the same session.
Branding stops short of your own domain
Content Snare adds your logo and colors on paid plans, but client emails send from Content Snare's domain, not yours — and there is no custom domain for the request pages. Portico puts your firm name on every email and, on Business, serves forms and the portal from your own subdomain.
One field per card, one submit per field
Each field gets its own card with its own submit button. A 37-question intake becomes an endless scroll of individual submissions — slow for clients, tedious for you to review.
No real client portal
Content Snare's Client Portal is a beta file drop. Clients access each request via separate links — no unified dashboard showing their onboarding status, documents, and messages.
